UN EXHIBIT HIGHLIGHTS WOMEN: THE FABRIC HOLDING COMMUNITIES TOGETHER

Women are the fabric that holds families and communities together. Everywhere in the world women weave and mend the social fabric of our communities. Currently on exhibit in the UN Visitors Center in New York City are quilts made by more than 150 women from 12 countries, each piece of fabric a tribute to the strength of women and a promise to give them the support they need to continue to repair their families and communities torn apart by violence in many parts of the world.  Read more…
