In preparation for the 57th Commission on the Status of Women, the Working Group on Girls is preparing a collection of good practices to remove barriers to issues such as early and forced marriage.
Aspects of this study include:
changing attitudes prevention resources
monitoring of legislation evaluation of programs gender inequality
role of men and boys regional frameworks UN roles
life course perspective community involvement participation by girls
Other issues are honor killing, female genital mutilation, foeticide, trafficking, domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, sex harassment, rape, and pornography.
