STOP MODERN DAY SLAVERY: VATICAN HOSTS SEMINAR OF SCIENTISTS AND DOCTORS

In November 2013, at Pope Francis’ invitation, the Vatican Academies of Sciences and Social Sciences and the World Federation of Catholic Medical Associations met to examine human trafficking issues. Their work resulted in a focused three-page document calling all people to address modern day slavery.
