UN.GIFT Box is an innovative project created by the NGO STOP THE TRAFFIK group and the United Nations Global Initiative to Fight Human Trafficking (UN.GIFT). This project was launched in London during the 2012 Olympics. UN.GIFT Boxes are walk-in pieces of public art that invite people inside with signs like “Earn more money and support your family.” Once inside, visitors are exposed to the reality of false promises that can result in human trafficking.    www.ungift.org/

STOP Trafficking in PersonsThe NGO Committee to Stop Trafficking in Persons is bringing a GIFT Box to New York City. The Box will be displayed in a prominent location for the final two weeks of January in light of the momentum and influx of visitors coming to the area for the US Football Super Bowl on February 2, 2014.
